Special Education Needs & Disabilities

Our school has been awarded with the prestigious Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) award. This award provides UK schools with a nationally recognised validation of their inclusive practice and ongoing commitment to developing educational inclusion. At St. Mary's, we are committed to ensuring that all of our pupils (regardless of their background or any special needs or disabilities) make progress.

Please take a look at our policies and plans at the bottom of the page, detailing how our school supports pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or a disability.

What to do if you have any questions/concerns regarding SEN or a disability:

Initially, please speak to your child's class teacher - this may result in a referral to our school's Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENDCo). If you'd prefer to contact the team directly - please use the following details:

SENDCo Name: Mr Ellis

Telephone: 01895 232814
